MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR

Job Summary

Supervises processes and programs to effectively control, and reduce loss time injuries. Ensures the safety and security of team members and customers. Controls staffing levels to maintain budgeted level of employment. Supervises staff members and delegate duties. Development of staff, interviews, hires, and evaluates. Reviews and maintains departments inventory of maintenance supplies. Communicates all maintenance task activities accomplished and assigned with Facilities Manager. Supervises and coordinates timely completion of property and safety inspections reports, applicable OSHA Compliance, EAP Regulations and ADA building codes. Responsible for general maintenance of all facilities and equipment on property including grounds. Assist in maintaining a spotless casino by disposing of any cups, glasses, bottles, or other items left on the floor by guests. Ensure the safety and security of all guests and employees. Keep work area in a clean and orderly manner. Have complete knowledge of all casino events and promotional activities, and assist as needed. Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and Company policies in an ethical manner and empower and require others to do the same. Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including late nights, weekends, and holidays; shifts and work locations may change. Perform other duties as assigned or reasonably requested by any member of management.

How You Will Create the Extraordinary

Ability to push and pull up to 250 pounds. Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds, and up to 250 pounds with assistance. Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and kneel repetitively. Safely work with provided cleaning chemical and equipment. Ascend and descend stairs and maintain equilibrium for an extended period. Must be able to work from a standing or sitting position and/or walking motion for extended period. Ability to work in a smoking and pet-friendly environment.

What You Will Need

Must be 21 years of age or older. Proficient in English verbal and written. Flexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to obtain and maintain a 1055 gaming license. Must possess valid driver's license and maintain good driving record. A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred. Two to five experience in the maintenance of a large working facility or plant operations with a 4-year degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
