Salary adjustments are determined by program eligibility, advancement level, and organizational guidelines.Up to $15,000 Sign-on Bonus and $5,000 Relocation Assistance available to eligible candidates (see terms below)Terms: 12-month Full-time Employment Contract Required for Sign-On and RelocationSign-on Eligibility:One (1) year of applicable experienceInternal Candidates and Rehires within 12 months are not eligibleRelocation Eligibility:Must live 50 miles outside of campus addressRehires that are less than 12 months from separation date are not eligiblePrimary Job Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary.Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, care activities, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Organizational and multi-tasking skillsKnowledge of nursing care methods and proceduresAbility to work as a Team player within a unitEffective verbal and oral communication and problem-solving skillsEKG competencyMust be fluent in English (read, verbal and written skills)Basic computer skills – must be able to navigate Microsoft windows based programsMust be able to use a high level of abstract reasoning to assess patient, evaluate interventions, and revise plan of care according to patient outcomesEducation:Bachelor's of Nursing [Required]Work Experience:1+ NICU experience in acute care hospital setting [Preferred]Licenses and Certifications:Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]Neonatal Resuscitation program (NRP) [Required]Pay Range: $31.85 - $52.76Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)Certain positions are subject to Florida Level 2 background screening, including fingerprinting, as required by state law.Applicants may review general information about Florida's background screening requirements at the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse: facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
