Derivatives Advisory - Risk Consultant

We're partnering exclusively with a global treasury and risk advisory firm to hire a Risk Management Consultant in New York City. Reporting to the Global Head of Risk Management, this individual will advise private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, and corporates on interest rate and foreign exchange risk strategies. They will also build the analytical tools behind that advice and help grow the firm's U.S. advisory practice.

Candidates should have:

• 3+ years of experience developing interest rate and/or FX hedging strategies, ideally within banking. Corporate treasury or risk advisory consulting experience will also be considered.
• In-depth knowledge of interest rate and FX derivatives and corporate hedging strategies.
• Strong quantitative and modelling skills, with the ability to build analytical tools and simulation models and to explain complex analysis in non-technical terms.
• A track record of building relationships with CFOs, treasurers, and private equity sponsors, and a strong drive to originate and win new business.
• The ability to work in Manhattan five days per week.
