Job Summary:
Operating Room Nurse position available in Odessa, Texas. The role involves providing specialized patient care in the operating room setting, working closely with surgical teams to ensure safe and effective procedures. All candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Odessa, Texas
• Schedule: Days shift from 0630 to 1500, approximately 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Certifications required: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Required Qualifications: Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in operating room nursing and prior travel experience. Scrubs are provided.
• Responsibilities include but are not limited to ensuring supply readiness, maintaining timeliness of procedures, communicating with patients families, updating physician preference cards, scrubbing in and assisting during surgeries, and supervising personnel delivering patient care.
• Submission requirements: All travel submissions must have at least 2 years of experience along with previous travel experience. No local candidates will be accepted.
• Additional Information: Scrubs provided. The operating room nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for patient care in the operating room.
