Customer Service Associate

Description Work From Home positions available in the Boise, ID area.We are seeking a Customer Order Specialist to work in our Central Service Center. This position will play a key role for the Customer Order Team by driving standardization and efficiency of process. This role will provide excellent customer service and process customer orders within the Shared Services center.This position is responsible for order entry processing and will utilize policies and procedures to consistently ensure an excellent customer experience. This position troubleshoots and resolves customer complaints and disputes and is responsible for assisting with continual process improvements and cost-effective delivery of services.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESResolves customer inquiries by utilizing SAP and departmental resourcesDevelops and maintains documentation on all assigned customers/business units/locationsResearches and works across functional areas to identify and resolve order accuracy, product availability, and order timelinessProcesses standard orders received by customer or field sales (via telephone, fax, EDI, e-mail) including ensuring the invoicing of shipments in a timely and efficient mannerProcesses EDI orders, resolving any errors on both the inbound order, and outbound subsequent documentsCommunicates effectively with distribution facilities to ensure on-time shipment and delivery of customer orders, thus maintaining appropriate service levelsWorks effectively and professionally with the customer and with internal functional areas, to include, but not limited to: Distribution, Credit, Accounts Receivable, Sales & Operations PlanningDelivers on defined operational goals and development plans, keeping Supervisor informed on progress, and ensures timely and accurate completion of work to goals.Supports RE025 SOX Audit control with weekly performance of self- and partner- order auditsPerforms other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the Order Management teamQUALIFICATIONSConsumer Products experience preferredExperience working with EDI preferredExperience working with enterprise systems such as SAP, Oracle, AS400, A+ Experience multi- tasking and resolving problems in a professional mannerWorks well in an environment with firm deadlines; results orientedStrong customer service and communication skillsPolite and positive phone demeanorStrong written, verbal, interpersonal and analytical skillsStrong attention to detail, goal oriented Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and ExcelPerform multiple tasks effectively; prioritize and respond with appropriate sense of urgencyAble to work both independently and as part of a teamMINIMUM EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION 3+ years of multi-product Customer Service experience and/or previous sales experience.Experience working with large customer base and high volume of transactionsExperience working with Microsoft Office Products is necessary (Excel, Outlook)WORKING CONDITIONSCorporate office environment or home office with frequent use of phone and PCNew Employee training is held in the office.
