You will work alongside an established multidisciplinary team supported by experienced advanced practice providers and a robust referral network. This is an opportunity to help shape the future of a high‑acuity cardiovascular service line while making a meaningful impact on patient care. Position Highlights Employed cardiovascular surgery position with Detroit Medical Group. Practice based at the TPR Cardiovascular Clinic within The Heart Hospital campus. Daily hospital rounds with a typical schedule of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Clinic at Sinai‑Grace Hospital at least one day per week. Clinic at The Heart Hospital one day per week. Approximately 40 hours per week dedicated to patient care, including OR and clinic responsibilities. Clinical mix of approximately 75% OR time, 15% clinic, and 10% rounding. Shared call rotation currently 1:2 with plans to expand to 1:3. Hospital‑compensated call coverage | Call includes consults, cardiac surgery emergencies, ECMO, transfers, weekends, and holidays. Typical clinic volume of 5 to 7 patients per day, depending on referrals and post‑surgical follow‑up. Collaborate with a cardiovascular team that includes interventional and non‑invasive cardiologists, pediatric cardiovascular surgeons, and a large cardiovascular referral base. Privileges across Detroit Receiving, Harper, and Sinai‑Grace hospitals. What We Offer Employed position within a growing cardiovascular service line. Hospital‑compensated call coverage.
