Lower Manhattan-Hybrid Our client is seeking a Non-equity Partner to join their New York office with a focus on Professional Liability Defense. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced attorney looking to take on a high-level role within a growing and collaborative environment. Responsibilities Handle complex professional and professional liability matters from inception through resolution Manage all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediations, and trial preparation Provide strategic legal counsel and risk analysis to clients Maintain and build strong client relationships Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups on sophisticated matters Mentor junior attorneys and support overall team development Participate in business development efforts and firm growth initiatives Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school Licensed and in good standing in New York/New Jersey. Significant experience in commercial litigation and/or professional liability defense Strong writing, analytical, and courtroom skills Ability to independently manage cases and client relationships Portable book of business is a plus, but not required Compensation Partner-level compensation ranging from $250,000–$300,000+, depending on experience and book of business Bonus opportunities available Competitive benefits package offered The firm is also open to considering highly qualified Senior Associates looking to transition into a long-term leadership opportunity.
