They assist individuals who are elderly, ill, or recovering from injury with personal care, medication reminders, and light household tasks.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with personal hygiene and grooming
- Provide mobility assistance and transfers
- Monitor and report changes in patients' condition
- Administer medication reminders and assist with prescribed treatments
- Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation as needed
- Support patients with daily living activities to promote independence
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years experience in home health care
- High school diploma or equivalent
