(Kenner,LA): Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Shop Hand for a short-term project involving the safe breakdown and disposal of decommissioned fiberglass lifeboats and marine vessels.

Essential Duties:

• Safely dismantle fiberglass lifeboats using hand and power tools

• Cut, strip, and remove fiberglass hulls, metal fittings, and mechanical components

• Follow environmental and safety regulations for handling fiberglass and marine waste

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements/Skills:

• Familiarity with fiberglass materials and safe handling practices a plus, not required

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Strong physical stamina and attention to detail

• Knowledge of OSHA and environmental safety standards is a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy materials and equipment

• Must be able to stand, bend, and work for extended periods

• Exposure to dust, noise, and sharp materials in a non-climate-controlled environment

• Must wear required PPE including respirators, gloves, and eye protection
