Work may also include directing and overseeing the activities of a small crew of maintenance and operations personnel, performed under general supervision. Seasonal Employment Information Applicants must be 18 years of age or older (lifeguards must be 16 or older). Applicants must be U.S. citizens or have legal authority to work in the U.S. Housing is provided in the Penobscot River Corridor and the Allagash Wilderness Waterway; housing is not available at other parks. Positions are scheduled for 40 hours per week, including weekends and some holidays. Uniforms are required and provided by the agency. Job offers are conditional upon verification of credentials, criminal record, and driver’s license check if applicable. Three references must be provided at the interview, including at least one work‑related reference. Benefits Paid holidays: 13 per year. Sick leave: 12 days per year.
