A Truck and Equipment Painter plays a crucial role in preparing and applying paint to vehicles, ensuring a flawless finish that meets quality standards. Working as part of a painting team, this role involves detailed surface preparation, precise paint application, and finishing tasks, specifically including expertise in heavy-duty truck painting. The ideal candidate is skilled in color matching, maintains equipment, and complies with safety protocols while interacting professionally with customers.

Responsibilities

Prepare vehicle surfaces through cleaning, sanding, and masking
Apply paint using standard and advanced spray painting tools
Match colors accurately to meet customer and brand specifications
Perform finishing tasks to achieve smooth and durable coatings
Maintain and clean painting equipment regularly
Inspect painted surfaces for quality and defects
Follow all safety regulations and procedures
Communicate effectively with customers regarding paint jobs and expectations
Specialized in heavy-duty truck painting

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of experience in automotive painting
Proficiency with standard spray painting tools and advanced paint technology
