About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Development to lead and oversee all statewide resource development, fundraising, and outreach efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and managing organizational fundraising programs, setting financial benchmarks, and ensuring the successful implementation of activities to meet revenue goals. This role requires a strong emphasis on relationship-based fundraising, including the stewardship and promotion of planned giving programs, and the execution of signature events. The VP of Development will also provide strategic and operational leadership to build and sustain individual, major gifts, foundation, corporate, grants, and event-related giving opportunities. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree or comparable equivalent, a minimum of 7 years' experience in a non-profit or similar business model, and a proven track record in fundraising with a variety of donors. The role demands exceptional written and oral communication skills, a high level of professionalism, and the ability to work with a wide range of constituents. Proficiency in CRM, particularly Salesforce, is required, and experience in strategic planning and organizational development is a plus. The ideal candidate will be results-oriented, possess strong interpersonal skills, and demonstrate a commitment to the mission of the organization. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is also a plus.
