Position Overview
We are seeking reliable Mail Sorters to support high-volume mail distribution operations. This role involves sorting, scanning, and organizing packages to ensure timely processing and delivery. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and handling repetitive tasks with accuracy.
Pay Rate: $20/hr | Worksite Location: Sumner, WA
Schedule
- Sunday: 3:30 AM – 12:00 PM
- Monday: 7:00 PM – 3:30 AM
- Tuesday: OFF
- Wednesday: 5:30 PM – 2:00 AM
- Thursday: 5:30 PM – 2:00 AM
- Friday: 4:30 PM – 1:00 AM
- Saturday: OFF
Key Responsibilities
- Mail sorting — Sort incoming and outgoing mail by size, destination, and category
- Package scanning — Use handheld scanners to track and verify packages
- Label verification — Ensure labels match correct routes and processing bins
- Loading & unloading — Move mail containers, trays, and packages throughout the facility
- Quality checks — Inspect packages for damage and ensure proper handling
- Work area upkeep — Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow safety protocols
Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Comfortable standing for long periods
- Attention to detail
- Reliable attendance
- Previous warehouse or mail-sorting experience is a plus
