In this unique role, you will support funeral homes and private parties by placing obituary notices in both print and online formats. Additionally, you will support clients by placing legal notices and some classified advertising. A strong focus on accuracy and professionalism in all communications is essential. You play a key role in establishing and sustaining our clients’ trust, which is vital to the success of the business. We are eager to consider your resume.

Obituary Notice Specialist

You will be handling and processing obituary and legal notices, formatting and proofreading content, managing incoming calls and emails, assisting customers with advertising orders, providing accurate product and deadline information, and responding to all customer inquiries or concerns with empathy, professionalism and efficiency.

Ideal candidates can easily prioritize and complete work accurately while consistently meeting deadlines. They demonstrate patience and empathy and communicate effectively with both their team members and our customers and clients.

Responsibilities Include:

• Responding promptly to incoming calls and emails.
• Processing and proofreading content with a strong focus on accuracy.
• Replying to customers in a timely fashion.
• Identifying and assessing customers' needs to achieve satisfaction.
• Assisting with processing notices and advertising orders.
• Building sustainable, trusting relationships with customer accounts.
• Adhering to guidelines, deadlines, and workflow processes.
• Providing a great customer experience by addressing all the customers’ needs in a courteous and friendly manner.

• Proven customer support experience, ensuring client satisfaction.

• Experience in data entry and call center environments.

Full-Time and Part-Time Availability

We’re hiring for full-time and part-time (24+ hours/week) . Candidates must be available between 9:00am – 9:00pm (Monday through Sunday). While you won’t work every day, your schedule will fall within those hours.

Compensation

Average earnings for this role are $18–$20 per hour, including incentives. Base pay starts at $16.50/hour , plus an incentive plan that rewards your accuracy, performance, and productivity.
