Sleep Study Data Collector

This position is primarily responsible for data collection and analysis of sleep studies in patients 3 years of age and older.

Essential Functions

• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
• Prepares and apply electrodes, sensors, and therapies including, but not limited to, positive airway pressure, supplemental oxygen, upper airway stimulation, home sleep testing devices.
• Identifies and documents patient events including, but not limited to, sleep stages, respiratory events, EKG arrhythmias, positional changes, therapeutic interventions.
• Corrects poor study/signal quality timely and appropriately.
• Performs common office tasks encountered in a medical setting including, but not limited to, data entry, scheduling, messaging.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

Education:

• High School Graduate/GED.

AND

Experience:

• Experience in a medical setting/sleep disorders center preferred.

Minimum Certifications, Registration or License Requirements:

• Must be Certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support CPR
