Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Porter to maintain cleanliness, organization, and overall upkeep of our facility. The Porter plays a key role in ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for staff, clients, and visitors.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and offices
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
- Remove trash and recycling and ensure proper disposal
- Restock supplies in restrooms and other designated areas
- Assist with basic maintenance tasks and report any repairs needed
- Monitor the building for safety and cleanliness standards
- Support cleaning staff and management with additional tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in cleaning or maintenance preferred but not required
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and move equipment or supplies as needed
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
- Must have New York Driver's License
Work Environment:
This role may require standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods. The Porter may work in indoor and outdoor environments, depending on the facility.
