Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Location

Napa, CA | Acute Care Hospital

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Variable Start Times (1500 or 1900) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Utilize Epic electronic health record system for accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Maintain required certifications including ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale, PALS, and TNCC throughout the duration of the assignment
• Participate in every-other-weekend scheduling as required by the facility
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• Wear facility-designated solid royal blue scrubs while on assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission — pending licenses are not accepted
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
• Must submit all RTO and scheduling requests at the time of submission; post-submission RTO requests may not be considered or granted
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a standard traveler (locals may be considered under separate terms)
• Two professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Epic charting system
• Experience working in an acute care hospital environment
• Familiarity with high-acuity emergency department workflows and protocols
