Behavioral Health Dietitian – Compass Healthcare in Los Angeles, CA. Morrison Healthcare – Location: Morrison Healthcare at Los Angeles General. Setting: Acute Care. Schedule: Thu-Mon or Fri-Tue. Requirement: RD Credential. Position Details – RD will oversee the care of behavioral health patients during weekdays. On weekends, RD will assist inpatient team with assessments, providing experience across patient populations. Option to work only behavioral health patients during week with a 28-hour work week is possible. Salary and Compensation – $75,000–$90,000. Other forms: meal plan, phone stipend, CEU's, AND and CDR dues paid, tuition, and education reimbursement. Key Responsibilities Provide medical nutrition therapy—including assessment, diet modification, education, and intervention—for the patient population Follow all guidelines outlined in the Company Diet Manual and Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual Comply with federal, state, and accrediting agency regulations while adhering to confidentiality, HIPAA, and patient rights Train and mentor patient services staff and interns as applicable Participate in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility-wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs Qualifications Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing/Credentialing Board, where required One (1) year of hospital experience, preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office, electronic medical record, diet office systems, and nutrient analysis programming Apply to Compass Group today!
