A Hospitality Development Group is seeking   a Senior Construction Manager to lead hotel renovation and capital improvement projects across an active portfolio of hospitality properties.

This role is responsible for managing projects from planning through completion, ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and in alignment with brand and operational standards in live hotel environments.

You will work closely with hotel leadership, consultants, designers, contractors, and ownership teams to successfully execute complex renovation programs.

What You’ll Do

• Lead end-to-end execution of hotel renovation and capital improvement projects
• Manage project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and construction delivery
• Coordinate with hotel operations teams, ownership, and brand/architecture groups
• Develop and maintain detailed project budgets, cost controls, and reporting
• Oversee contractor procurement, bidding, negotiation, and value engineering
• Manage design coordination and ensure alignment with brand standards
• Direct consultants including architects, engineers, and specialty disciplines
• Handle permitting, approvals, and coordination with government agencies
• Track and resolve construction issues, conflicts, RFIs, and change orders
• Review and approve pay applications, invoices, and contract documentation
• Conduct site visits, job meetings, inspections, and punch list management
• Ensure quality control and successful project closeout and turnover
• Coordinate FF&E installation planning and execution with internal teams
• Manage facility condition assessments and ongoing property evaluations

What They're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in construction management or construction administration
• Hospitality, hotel renovation, or occupied construction experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of budgets, scheduling, and contractor management
• Experience coordinating consultants and multiple project stakeholders
• Ability to manage projects in active, operating environments
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Essential Job Requirements:

Education: University degree, with preferable specialty in engineering, architecture or construction

Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of experience in construction or architectural construction administration, with preferable experience and understanding in hotel design, FF&E, renovations and operations.

Preferred Skills: Should have personal initiative to get things done with minimal guidance; should evidence historic ability to work easily with others; should show ability to seek out other resources within company to facilitate and expedite the development process

Physical Requirements: Must be able to travel on a regular basis; must maintain professional appearance in manner and dress regardless of circumstances
