We are seeking a motivated Renewable Energy Sales Consultant to support customer engagement and sales efforts within our residential energy division. This role focuses on communicating with prospective customers, qualifying interest, and guiding them through the early stages of the sales process while representing the company in a professional and knowledgeable manner.

The ideal candidate is comfortable speaking with people, asking screening questions, and helping schedule next steps with the sales team. This position offers training, structure, and opportunities for growth within the renewable energy industry.

Responsibilities

  • Contact prospective customers to discuss renewable energy programs and services

  • Ask screening and qualifying questions to assess customer interest and eligibility

  • Educate customers on basic clean energy concepts and available solutions

  • Schedule in-person or follow-up appointments with the sales team

  • Maintain accurate records of calls, notes, and outcomes in company systems

  • Follow up with candidates or customers who were unavailable by phone

  • Support the sales pipeline through consistent communication and organization

  • Represent the company professionally in all interactions

Qualifications

  • Strong verbal communication and listening skills

  • Comfortable making outbound calls and speaking with new contacts

  • Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn

  • Ability to manage time and tasks independently

  • Professional phone presence

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in sales, customer service, call centers, or outreach

  • Interest in renewable energy, sustainability, or clean technology
  • Bilingual abilities
