Desktop Support Technician

Desktop Support Technician Orlando, FL – 100% onsite, regional travel required. 12‑month contract. What You’ll Be Doing Set up and support desktops, laptops, and mobile devices Troubleshoot hardware, software, login, and user account issues Perform PC imaging, deployments, and system upgrades Support printers, peripherals, and network‑connected devices Provide Tier 2 support and escalates more complex issues as needed Work with Active Directory, ticketing systems, and Windows environments Assist with basic networking (LAN, switches, wireless access points, cabling) Document issues/resolutions and help train users when needed Support both staff systems and internal lab environments What They’re Looking For 2+ years of desktop support or help desk experience (Tier 2 preferred) Experience troubleshooting: Windows OS, Microsoft Office, Outlook, PCs, printers, and peripherals Hands‑on experience with: Active Directory (user accounts, password resets) Imaging and deployments Ticketing systems Basic understanding of networking (TCP/IP, LAN) Strong customer service and communication skills Valid driver’s license (travel required) Work Environment 100% onsite in the greater Orlando area Primary location at one site, with travel to nearby locations Work performed in a secure, structured environment supporting multiple teams and systems Benefits Medical, dental & vision Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital 401(k) Retirement Plan – pre‑tax and Roth post‑tax contributions available Life Insurance (Voluntary Life & AD&D for the employee and dependents) Short and long‑term disability Pay and Benefits Pay range: $45.00 – $53.00/hour.
