Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Oncology Acute Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Peoria, IL. The successful candidate will join a dedicated team, providing expert care in a 19-bed unit that handles various types of cancer and hematology patients. This role includes working with IV chemotherapy and immunotherapy regimens in a highly supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Oncology - Travel

• Administer IV chemotherapy and immunotherapy, ensuring proper handling precautions and monitoring for side effects.
• Provide care for patients with lymphoma, leukemia, and other cancer types, including radiation oncology and Gyn/Onc patients.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including charge nurses and house supervisors, to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Participate in unit-wide telemetry monitoring without requirement for reading/interpretation of strips.
• Engage in self-scheduling with flexibility to accommodate unit needs, including weekend and holiday rotations.

Requirements of the RN - Oncology - Travel

• Active IL license or confirmation that application process has been initiated
• BLS and ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate
• Experience with IV chemotherapy & immunotherapy regimens
• Familiarity with Epic charting systems
