About the Role:
Rusty Hooks Dockside Grill is looking for an energetic and experienced Front of House Manager to lead our team in the charming coastal town of Southport, NC. This is your chance to bring your hospitality expertise to a dynamic environment where great food, great people, and great vibes come together.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all front of house operations to ensure a seamless and exceptional guest experience
- Hire, train, schedule, and manage FOH staff including servers, hosts, and bartenders
- Monitor floor operations during service, resolving guest concerns quickly and professionally
- Collaborate with kitchen and back of house management to ensure smooth service flow
- Manage opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and daily reporting
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service regulations
- Drive team performance through coaching, feedback, and staff development
Requirements:
- 2+ years of restaurant management or FOH supervisory experience required
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Excellent guest relations and conflict resolution abilities
- Experience with POS systems and basic restaurant reporting
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service (ABC/TIPS certification a plus)
- Full Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a high-volume environment
- Positive, professional demeanor with a passion for hospitality
