About the Position
Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: OR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 00:00-00:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Current RN License Certifications: Current BLS certification required upon hire. Current ACLS certification required. PALS preferred. Must-Have: One year of previous OR, Pre-OP, PACU, or related experience preferred. Description: The Operating Room Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, directing, evaluating, and delivering safe appropriate care within the scope of their practice to patients in the Operating Room. The role involves delivering care that meets the expected standards while ensuring patient safety. The RN will collaborate with the surgical team to provide optimal patient outcomes. Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential. The candidate must be able to respond to emergencies and assist in various surgical procedures. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are necessary for making informed decisions regarding patient care.
