Job Summary

Client is seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to support enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) integrations across legacy and modern applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, JDBC, SQL, and database integration, with the ability to analyze existing applications and develop secure data integrations with SailPoint or similar IAM platforms.

The role involves understanding application authentication and authorization models, identifying user accounts, roles, permissions, and entitlements, and developing reliable data feeds for identity governance and access certification processes.

Required

• 6 7+ years of enterprise software development experience, preferably in Java and backend integration.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring/Spring Boot, and Hibernate/JPA.
• Solid understanding of SQL, JDBC, and application-to-database integration.
• Experience with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server, including query optimization and performance tuning.
• Practical experience developing or maintaining REST APIs and SOAP web services.
• Ability to analyze existing application code, database schemas, and custom authorization mechanisms.
• Understanding of IAM concepts, including user accounts, groups, roles, permissions, service accounts, and entitlements.
• Strong debugging, testing, documentation, and production support skills.
• Working knowledge of AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.

Qualifications

• Experience with SailPoint integrations, identity governance, or access certification workflows.
• Experience building user, role, and entitlement data feeds for access reviews.
• Familiarity with Informatica PowerCenter, scheduled ETL workflows, and secure file-based data transfers.
• Knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, Agile methodologies, and enterprise security controls.
• Exposure to mainframe technologies, including DB2/z/OS, JCL, COBOL-based systems, and fixed-width flat files.
• Experience in insurance, financial services, or other regulated industries.
