General Maintenance Technician

What this job involves As a Maintenance Technician you will support the operation, inspection and maintenance of mechanical, plumbing equipment, and will perform general repair and labor tasks across assigned facilities. Working the evening shift Monday through Friday, 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM, you will collaborate with fellow Facilities team members on maintenance and repair efforts while also independently performing defined tasks to keep operations running smoothly. Your responsibilities will span inspections and repairs to both interior and exterior property areas, including walls, flooring, installed fixtures, roofing systems, lighting, plumbing, and doors. What your day‑to‑day will look like Perform ongoing preventive and repair response work orders on facility mechanical, plumbing and other installed systems, equipment, components Conduct assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on conditions that impact client occupancy and operations Complete general interior maintenance tasks including light plumbing, hanging pictures, installing keyboard trays, repairing office furniture systems, replacing ceiling tiles, and repairing doors Assist the operations team in the maintenance and repair of building equipment as directed Move office furniture, machinery, equipment and other materials as requested Set up conference rooms and the conference center for events as needed Support the electrician on the team occasionally with light electrical and lighting work Update work order status in real time using CMMS systems such as Corrigo, ensuring accurate tracking of all work performed Comply with all safety procedures, complete hazard assessments as necessary, maintain good housekeeping, recognize safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them Required qualifications 3+ years of experience with general building maintenance in a commercial setting Basic plumbing experience (e.g., toilets and components, change components) Basic computer skills, including understanding software, typing, answering emails and using applications, programs, tools Experience using a volt meter and ability to troubleshoot problems Physical qualifications Ability to lift up to 80 lbs Ability to climb a 30‑foot ladder when necessary Preferred qualifications Experience working in warehouse environments Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) such as Corrigo Knowledge of state, county or city ordinances, codes, or laws related to facility maintenance Understanding of safe storage, usage and disposal procedures for hazardous materials Shift Monday through Friday, 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM Location On‑site – Atlanta, GA Personalized benefits that support personal well‑being and growth 401(k) plan with matching company contributions Comprehensive medical, dental & vision care Paid parental leave at 100% of salary Paid time off and company holidays Early access to earned wages through Daily Pay Jones Lang LaSalle ("JLL") is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities.
