RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM in four 10-hour shifts
• 7 call shifts required in a 6-week period
• Weekday, weekend, and holiday call coverage required
• Function as circulator or surgical technician during peak surgery hours
• CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) experience required
• Minimum one year of Cardiovascular OR experience required
• Dual role capabilities in scrub and circulating preferred
• Required certifications: RN license (single state or compact), BLS, ACLS (within 180 days)
• CPR certification required and must participate in annual safety and infection control programs
• Associates in Nursing or Diploma required, Bachelor's preferred
• Maintain 12 contact hours per year for continuing education
• Coordinate delivery of perioperative patient care and surgical suite activities
• Provide age-appropriate patient care addressing biological, emotional, developmental, psychosocial and educational needs
• Function independently within broad range of surgical specialties
• Some charge nurse responsibilities may be required
• Must demonstrate excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task using critical thinking
• Flexible schedule required due to continued patient care needs
• Commendable attendance and punctuality required
