Lead Scheduler

Act as the central authority for project time management, owning the development, maintenance, and governance of the Master Integrated Schedule (MIS). This role ensures all programme elements including vendor logistics, engineering deliverables, construction activities, and commissioning phases—are fully integrated and logically sequenced to enable on-time project delivery. W2 or 1099 Contract Contract Length: 18 to 24 months Start Date: ASAP Key Responsibilities Schedule Assurance & Integrity Perform detailed analysis and quality assurance of General Contractor (GC) schedule submissions using Primavera P6. Audit schedule logic, constraints, and dependencies to ensure robustness and accuracy. Monitor and evaluate critical path integrity, float trends, and identify out-of-sequence or at-risk activities. Master Integrated Schedule (IMS) Ownership Develop, manage, and continuously update a comprehensive Master Integrated Schedule. Consolidate multiple programme inputs, including network delivery timelines, owner-furnished equipment (OFE) manufacturing schedules, utility connections, and commissioning activities. Ensure full alignment and transparency across all project stakeholders. Conduct quantitative and qualitative schedule risk analyses. Perform scenario modelling and “what-if” analyses to assess potential delays and their impact on key milestones (e.g., Temporary Power Ready, Building Ready, Server Ready). Identify and communicate schedule risk exposure and mitigation strategies. Progress Validation & Reporting Independently verify construction progress through regular site inspections. Validate reported progress against actual field conditions. Produce weekly reports highlighting progress variance, milestone slippage, and emerging risks. Recovery & Acceleration Planning Collaborate with Project Managers and General Contractors to develop recovery strategies in response to schedule delays. Evaluate and implement mitigation measures, including re-sequencing, acceleration plans, and resource optimisation.
