Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography (CT) imaging in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This role involves independently performing a variety of diagnostic CT procedures utilizing established scan protocols and complex imaging equipment. The position requires a high level of technical expertise, patient interaction, and adherence to departmental protocols to ensure accurate and efficient imaging services. Job Details: Schedule: Rotating shifts with 12-hour shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited CNMT program. CT registry must be acquired within 18 months of the primary registry date or date of hire if already obtained. Two years of experience in the field. Certifications include ARRT Certificate, Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (NMTC), and Basic Life Support (BLS). Licenses include PA License (PA Act 31, PA Act 33, PA Act 34, PA Act 73). Preferred Qualifications: Experience with contrast administration, venipuncture, and complex imaging procedures. Ability to communicate clearly with patients and team members, demonstrating professionalism, compassion, and technical proficiency. Additional Information: Performs venipuncture and uses power injectors according to departmental and manufacturer protocols. Administers PO, rectal, and IV contrast media following physician orders, with prior assessment of patient risk factors. Ensures proper patient identification, reviews history, and applies departmental protocols for optimal imaging results. Properly documents patient history, exams, and charges in electronic systems. Operates complex imaging equipment for acquisition, analysis, and reconstruction of images, and completes procedures according to protocol. Demonstrates adherence to system-wide competencies and behaviors. Performs other duties as assigned.
