CT Technician - Full Time

CT Technologist

The CT Technologist performs a variety of imaging procedures within the Imaging department, providing specialized scanning utilizing appropriate techniques and protocols. CT Technologist performs under the general direction of a Radiologist and Imaging department leadership. The CT Technologist is responsible for demonstrating Service Excellence while providing safe, quality patient care for all patients receiving imaging services. This includes, but not limited to, capturing optimal images, collaboration with clinical team members, assisting the physician in the diagnosis of the patient's condition or health complaint, other duties as necessary to facilitate Imaging service delivery. Employee may be required to float to the other facility within Southwest Health Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospital based on operational needs, with appropriate orientation and competency validation provided.

EDUCATION: Diploma from a certified school of radiologic technology.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:

• Active California Radiology Technologist (CRT) license
• Computerized Tomography certification ARRT (CT)
• Current BLS certification
• Fluoroscopy license required within 1 year of hire
• Active American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) license
• Venipuncture certification preferred

EXPERIENCE: Minimum one-year experience as a CT Technologist preferred. Experience in an acute care facility preferred.
