Must to have: Program debugging, Batch debugging, Database DB2, All concepts on DB2 should be clear, ILE concepts, Job Scheduling, RPG, RPGLE, Free-format, API, JSON, XML
Job Description:
- Minimum 10 years' experience in AS400 technology
- Good knowledge of DB2, RPG, RPGLE, CLLE and free format (RPG Free)
- Experience of using IFS (File sharing) and FTP in AS400
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Have prior exposure of production support projects and be able to coordinate with multiple teams
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems - Ability to work independently, be flexible and work several projects simultaneously Experience a plus: Peoplesoft development,.Net development, JAVA and PHP developing and implementing applications in a Web environment Responsibilities - Member of support team working - Help desk tickets solving user issues - Break fixes - Occasional software enhancements - Support transitional efforts from AS400 to.Net environments - Execute periodic tasks: File upload/download, Yearend budget/financial rollovers, Document existing processes to support software conversion efforts - Duration: 12 Months - Must be action oriented; Taking on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.
