Gastroenterology Hospitalist Opening Shreveport, LA Located in Shreveport, LouisianaFull-Time, Permanent Practice Overview Full-time Gastroenterology Hospitalist opportunity in Shreveport, Louisiana Dedicated inpatient gastroenterology practice with strong consultative and procedural volume Join a growing gastroenterology program at a busy regional referral center Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures Manage complex gastrointestinal disorders, GI bleeding, liver disease, and urgent inpatient consultations Shared call structure designed to promote work-life balance Modern endoscopy facilities with access to advanced technology Collaborate with hospitalists, intensivists, surgeons, oncology specialists, and a multidisciplinary care team Opportunity to help build and expand the gastroenterology service line Leadership opportunities available for physicians interested in program development Advanced endoscopy experience, including ERCP, is welcomed Compensation & Recruitment Package Competitive compensation package Sign-on bonus CME allowance Recruitment incentives may be available Job Qualifications MD or DO Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology Louisiana medical license or eligibility Interest in inpatient gastroenterology and hospital-based practice Advanced endoscopy (ERCP) experience preferred but not required Team-oriented physician committed to delivering high-quality patient care Benefits Comprehensive employed physician benefits package Medical, dental, and vision insurance Employer-paid malpractice insurance with tail coverage 403(b) retirement plan with employer match Generous paid time off CME allowance and professional development support Community DetailsShreveport, Louisiana offers an affordable cost of living, excellent housing options, and short commute times, making it an ideal place to enjoy a balanced lifestyle.
