Cost Estimator

Location: West Chester, OH

Pay: $70-$90k+ BOE

Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate cost estimates and price quotations for new, redesigned, and modified products.
Develop and compile cost data for complex composite products when standard costing information is unavailable.
Review and revise cost estimates based on engineering changes, material pricing, and manufacturing updates.
Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and material specification sheets to support accurate costing.
Prepare and submit all required estimate documentation for internal review and approval.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and customers to ensure estimates align with manufacturing capabilities and project requirements.

Requirements:

Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred, or equivalent relevant work experience.
Experience preparing cost estimates in a manufacturing environment, preferably with composite products.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and material specification sheets.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments.
Professional interpersonal skills to interact with engineers, production personnel, and customers.
Drafting experience with Unigraphics (NX) or CATIA is a plus.
Ability to work effectively in both office and manufacturing environments.
