Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and price quotations for new, redesigned, and modified products.
- Develop and compile cost data for complex composite products when standard costing information is unavailable.
- Review and revise cost estimates based on engineering changes, material pricing, and manufacturing updates.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and material specification sheets to support accurate costing.
- Prepare and submit all required estimate documentation for internal review and approval.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and customers to ensure estimates align with manufacturing capabilities and project requirements.
- Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred, or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Experience preparing cost estimates in a manufacturing environment, preferably with composite products.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and material specification sheets.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments.
- Professional interpersonal skills to interact with engineers, production personnel, and customers.
- Drafting experience with Unigraphics (NX) or CATIA is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in both office and manufacturing environments.
