Senior Technical Producer — Teamfight Tactics, Core Tech

As Technical Producers at Riot, we lead passionate technical teams to create products and experiences that deliver maximum developer and player value. As a Technical Producer III on the Core Tech team, you will lead a complex technical team and projects that deliver the tools and engine capabilities used to develop Teamfight Tactics. You will own strong delivery processes within the team and ensure that collaboration with external teams runs smoothly. You will oversee product roadmaps, delivery, work systems, and execution, while providing initiative leadership with visibility into complex deliverables, risks, and dependencies. You will also ensure that the team works at a sustainable pace and continuously improves.

You will report to the Initiative Delivery Lead for the Core Tech initiative on TFT.

Responsibilities:

• Run day-to-day production operations and development processes for complex technical teams
• Lead complex projects involving multiple disciplines, teams, and organizational partners
• Partner with Engineering and Product leads to develop the team’s technical product vision, strategy, and roadmap
• Manage delivery plans, risks, dependencies, tradeoffs, and stakeholder communication
• Improve work systems, team performance metrics, delivery predictability, and goal setting
• Assess team health, composition, and capacity to ensure the team is set up for success
• Increase development efficiency through simplification and standardization
• Mentor other producers and contribute ideas beyond your immediate ownership across teams and disciplines

Required Qualifications: 

• Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Producer, Product Manager, or Development Manager on medium-to-large technical teams
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience with strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
• Experience independently leading complex technical projects with multiple teams, stakeholders, or dependencies
• Experience applying Agile and Lean development processes
• Excellent team leadership and the ability to refine technical product vision
• Experience working with teams building engine capabilities, platform technology, or gameplay features
• Skilled at managing diverse stakeholders, building alignment across teams, and navigating complex organizational dynamics
• Strong understanding of product management and the ability to find balanced solutions across technical, developer, and delivery constraints
• Expert of Jira use, configuration, and limitations

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience working with teams building software or tools for internal users
• Experience in game development or a strong understanding of how artists, engineers, and game designers build assets and features for a modern game

• (Los Angeles Only) Base salary range between $185,200.00 - $258,000.00 USD + incentive compensation + equity + 401K with company match + medical, dental, vision, and life insurance + short and long-term disability + open PTO.
