Pleasant Hope R-VI School District is seeking applicants for substitute openings in our Food Service Department.

Qualifications: Education: High school graduate, preferred Experience: Appropriate experience for position preferred

Reporting Relationship: Reports to: Head cook

Terms of Employment: All days meals are served, plus one day prior and one day after

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Position Summary: The cook is primarily responsible for the preparation and serving of food to students.

Position Responsibilities:

• Prepares and serves food.
• Store food and supplies.
• Utilize proper safety and sanitation procedures.
• Use and maintains food service equipment.
• Assists in daily cleaning of kitchen and serving areas.
• Wipe tables after breakfast and lunch shifts.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Should be in sufficient health to perform the essential functions of the job.
