Our Hammonton General Claims Clerical Team is seeking a reliable Claim Support Assistant who will provide aid and support to claim staff and our policyholders. This is a full-time position hybrid role which offers a work from office and home schedule after training is completed.

Hours:

• Monday-Friday, 8:45AM-5:00PM

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide vendor access to new claim staff. Perform file transfers. Assist with data clean up efforts to ensure activities are properly assigned. Add and/or correct vendor data in claim system for reporting accuracy.
• Serve as a liaison between claim staff and customers to assist with claim related questions via telephone, email, and Teams. Support the departments CAT plan by answering calls and taking first notice of loss claims.
• Provide administrative claim support assistance to internal claim staff by assisting in day-to-day operations, including transcription of statements, contacting vendors/other insurance carriers, emailing or faxing documents and properly notating claim files.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills, including writing, speaking and active listening.
• Ability to learn quickly, work independently and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational, problem solving and multi-tasking skills with impeccable attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and time effectively.
• Technical aptitude with the ability to navigate all tasks required in systems utilized.
• Above average proficiency in typing and grammar.
• Reliable, with high integrity and strong work ethic.

Compensation: Salary is commensurate with experience and credentials.

Pay Range: $41,529-$48,269
