Huntington Ingalls Industries: Mission Technologies Division is actively searching for a highly skilled enterprise architect to support the ongoing mission of AFRL/IZX division. The enterprise architect (EA) plays a key role in structuring the enterprise in terms of its governance structure, business processes, and business information. This person aligns strategic goals and objectives with decisions regarding products and services; partners and suppliers; organization; capabilities; and key business and IT initiatives. The primary focus is the mission/business motivations, mission/business operations and mission/business analysis frameworks and related networks that link these aspects of the enterprise together. The EA works to develop an integrated view of the enterprise using a repeatable approach, cohesive framework, and available industry standard techniques. The EA reports to the IZX Division Chief and Deputy Director and does require an on-site presence at WPAFB.

Level 3 salary range: $98,280.00 - $182,520.00 Level 4 salary range: $116,771.00 - $216,861.00

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Architecture Development: Design, document, and maintain architecture roadmaps, models, and representations that align with organizational goals and strategies.
• Cataloging and Documentation: Ensure comprehensive cataloging and documentation of architecture initiatives, capabilities, workflows, and standard components to support business and technology operations.
• Compliance and Governance: Coordinate and enforce adherence to architectural standards, policies, and guidelines across the organization to ensure consistency and alignment.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with business and technology stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze needs, and develop architectural solutions that drive organizational efficiency and innovation.
• Communication and Training: Communicate architectural strategies, initiatives, and frameworks effectively to key stakeholders and provide training or guidance as necessary.
• Framework Maintenance: Continuously maintain and refine architecture models, frameworks, and representations to adapt to evolving business and technology landscapes.

Skills and Qualifications

A broad, enterprise-wide view of the business and varying degrees of appreciation for strategy, processes and capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance The ability to recognize structural issues within the organization, functional interdependencies and cross-silo redundancies The ability to assimilate and correlate disconnected documentation and drawings, and articulate their collective relevance to the organization and to high-priority business issues Experience using model-based representations that can be adjusted as required to collect, aggregate or disaggregate complex and conflicting information about the business The ability to visualize and create high-level models that can be used in future analysis to extend and mature the business architecture Extensive experience planning and deploying both business and IT initiatives Experience modeling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization; this includes written and verbal communications as well as visualizations

Minimum Qualifications

Level 3: 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience. Level 4: 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience. Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain one. CompTIA Security + or CompTIA Network + or equivalent certifications desirable Experience with DoDAF and TOGAF are highly desirable
