Pad Print Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pad Print Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining pad printing equipment to ensure high-quality printing on ABS plastic. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to maintaining production efficiency. Responsibilities Set up and adjust pad printing machines according to job specifications. Prepare inks, pads, clichés, and other necessary materials for printing operations. Operate pad printing machines to produce high-quality prints on ABS plastic. Inspect printed products for quality assurance and make necessary adjustments. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and technical issues with printing equipment. Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and calibration of pad printing machines. Maintain accurate records of production runs, maintenance, and material usage. Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures. Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve processes. Qualifications Attention to detail and commitment to quality. Previous experience as a Pad Printer Technician or in a similar role preferred. Knowledge of pad printing equipment, inks, and substrates. Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills. Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and technical specifications. Basic computer skills for record-keeping and machine programming. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as needed. Experience with color mixing and ink formulation. Familiarity with various printing techniques and manufacturing processes. Excellent vision.
