Job Description Job Description About Us MCI is a 46-year-old industry leader in the design, manufacture, and assembly of electrical controls, electrical enclosures, irrigation pumps and controls, municipal and commercial pump stations, water purification systems and design-to-order metal fabrications. We serve a variety of industries with standard and custom products including water pumping, oil production-drill and refining controls, wastewater treatment, conveying, baggage conveying, handling, process control, and more! Job Summary Responsible for the accurately assembling small to very large Control panels for various applications. Must be able to read prints and diagrams. This position is physically challenging, requiring upper body strength and stamina. Must be physically able to lift, bend, pull, measure, cut wire, lift a 50 pounds metal panel, and screw in large screws manually. Must be able to follow a assembly /drawing precisely, meeting time requirements while being accurate. Compensation Starting at $20/hr Key Responsibilities Lift heavy panel boxes onto work station and determine correct mechanical and/or wiring schematic for that particular model Install back plates and punch holes in metal box accurately using accurate measurements Evaluate assembled structure for damages, incorrect design and/or setup, and suggest corrections or improvements MUST possess the knowledge and ability to use tape measures, scales, squares, nut drivers, sockets and ratchets, drills, impact drivers, and hand jacks. Recognize different bolt, washer, and nut sizes Must be able to work in a fast paced environment Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE Must be a team player and willing to perform tasks that may not be in your specific job description, take initiative when appropriate, and be open to constructive criticism.
