With a presence in more than 40 countries, Molex offers a full suite of solutions and services for many markets, including data communications, consumer electronics, industrial, automotive, commercial vehicle and medical.What You Will DoDevelops new product designs and manages product extensions focused on our High Power connector product line.Provides technical support to customers, suppliers and inside personnel.Coordinates product activities with engineering, manufacturing, purchasing and quality using the engineering change request (ECR) procedures.Support product testing by coordinating with reliability lab (write test request, gather test sample, boards etc.)Performs design verification activities to ensure that design meets the specification requirements.Checks manufacturing and sales drawings for completeness and accuracyResponsible for making sure all products are properly released with accurate informationPerforms other related duties as assigned by management.Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or design Proficient in solid modeling experience to generate 3D models & 2-D drawingsDemonstrated ability to analyze information and solve problems with sound solutionsDemonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environmentWhat Will Put You AheadDesign experience of electromechanical products such as connectors or switches.Knowledge of MM / BOM loading softwareFamiliarity with manufacturing processesGood knowledge of material propertiesGood presentation skillsUnderstanding of GD&TNX 3D modeling experience For this role, we anticipate paying $110,000-140,0000 per year.
