Job Description We are seeking a workers' compensation defense attorney with 0-5 years of experience. Opportunities include: Managing a litigation case load under the mentorship and supervision of multiple partners Handling depositions of medical experts and witnesses Conducting thorough investigations relevant to each case Engaging in legal research on a variety of issues Negotiating with opposing counsel and obtaining favorable settlement results Practicing in all stages of litigation, including pre-trials, trials, and appeals Involvement in a variety of collaborations and projects Maintain and developing relationships with a wide variety of clients, from major corporations and large municipalities to small businesses Involvement in a variety of collaborations and projects, to advance both the firm and the individual success of the attorney Required Skills/Abilities To excel in this role, candidates must possess: A valid Illinois law license in good standing with the Bar. Exceptional professionalism and communication skills. Proficiency in research and writing. The ability to administer multiple tasks effectively while meeting deadlines. Superior interpersonal and client management skills. Impeccable organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong time management abilities, with a proven track record of meeting deadlines. Job Location In office to start. Hybrid work from home following initial onboarding and training. Salary and Benefits We offer a competitive starting salary range of $90,000.00-$120,000.00, commensurate with experience, with the potential for annual bonuses.
