Psychiatric Registered Nurse RN Nights Temp

Responsibilities Cedar Creek Hospital of Michigan is a 72‑bed facility dedicated to evidence‑based treatment for adolescents and adults with mental health issues, offering an integrated approach that includes yoga, mindfulness, aromatherapy, music therapy, and nutrition. This is a temporary assignment for 16 weeks on 12‑hour shifts, with the possibility of extension up to 6 months. The position is not eligible for benefit programs; a premium pay rate of $70 per hour is offered. It requires prior psychiatric experience. Current employees of UHS are not eligible. Complete nurse‑to‑nurse assessment with other healthcare facilities and communicate with Internal Medicine as needed. Complete internal nursing assessments. Assess, plan, and deliver care for patients with co‑occurring disorders. Continuously assess and reassess the patient’s medical and psychiatric status and changing needs. Participate with other team members in planning and implementing the patient’s treatment plan. Work with both adult and adolescent populations. Hours Full time, three 12‑hour shifts per week, 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. for the night shift, including an every‑other weekend rotation. Qualifications Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Michigan required. Previous psychiatric experience required.
