Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough evaluations of patients, including physical examinations and in-depth discussions of their medical histories
• Aid in the diagnosis and assessment of surgical issues through the interpretation of imaging and laboratory findings
• Work intimately with the surgical team to formulate and implement personalized surgical treatment plans for patients
• Provide intraoperative assistance, ensuring the operating room is prepared, maintaining appropriate patient positioning, and effectively handling surgical instruments throughout procedures
• Offer outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care, including administering medications, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a strong emphasis on surgery is strongly preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• Active and unencumbered PA-C certification
• Current certification in BLS and ACLS required
• State licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Physician Assistant
