Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Providing specialized critical care nursing for patients in a multi-acuity ICU setting, with a focus on cardiovascular and high-acuity units. The role involves managing complex medical devices and providing comprehensive patient care in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver advanced nursing care to critically ill patients across CVICU, Cardiac PCU, and MICU units.
• Operate and monitor a variety of sophisticated medical devices and technologies.
• Floats between units as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to different critical care settings.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate, detailed documentation of patient conditions, treatments, and outcomes.
• Adhere to all background clearance requirements and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Current BSN and valid state RN license required.
• Previous experience in CVICU highly preferred; cardiac PCU or MICU experience accepted.
• Demonstrate proficiency with critical care devices and advanced clinical skills.
• Possess all necessary background clearances and ACLS certification.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including every other weekend and one holiday.
