Mechanical Assembler – Day Shift – $20/hr Location: South Houston, TX Pay: $20/hr Schedule: Full‑time, day shift Job Highlights $20/hr Full‑time day shift Weekly pay Long‑term opportunity Hands‑on mechanical assembly work Production environment Use of hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools What You’ll Do Assemble mechanical parts and components using work instructions, drawings, and basic schematics Use hand tools and power tools for fastening, fitting, adjusting, and finishing work Measure and check parts using tools such as calipers, micrometers, or gauges when needed Perform visual inspections and quality checks to confirm parts are assembled correctly Follow metric measurements and written production instructions accurately Troubleshoot basic assembly issues and report material, quality, or production concerns Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe throughout the shift What We’re Looking For Previous mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting Experience using hand tools and power tools Ability to read and follow work instructions, drawings, or basic schematics Comfortable using or learning precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, or gauges Basic understanding of metric measurements preferred Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
