Job Title: Principal Financial Analyst Job Code: 37808 Job Location: Palm Bay, FL Job Schedule: 9/80 (Every other Friday off) Job Description: The Space Systems FP&A department is responsible for developing sector forecasts and management reporting. We are seeking a seasoned financial professional who can operate at both strategic and tactical levels. This role serves as a critical bridge between data operations and executive reporting, transforming financial outputs into insights that drive decision‑making. Essential Functions Lead development of executive‑level financial reporting and analysis using consolidated team outputs Create comprehensive financial narratives that translate data into actionable insights Develop and maintain financial models and scenario‑planning frameworks to support strategic planning and decision‑making Prepare materials and analysis for Investor Relations (IR) and Board of Directors (BoD) presentations Partner with Division CFOs and analysts on all forecasting aspects to ensure accuracy and clear communication of financial opportunities, risks, and results Provide guidance as a subject matter expert in financial forecasting concepts, processes, and tools Collaborate with the FP&A team, Sector CFO, and cross‑functional stakeholders to report business performance Drive proactive insights and elevate the quality and strategic value of financial reporting across the organization Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience; Or, Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience; Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 16 years of prior related experience Preferred Additional Skills 2+ years of FP&A experience Strong financial modeling, scenario planning, and analytical capabilities Excellent storytelling and communication skills with experience in executive‑level reporting (IR, BoD, or similar) Self‑directed and proactive with strong leadership abilities Detail‑oriented with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint Oracle and Hyperion/SmartView experience a plus #LI-CG1 L3Harris Technologies is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
