Registered Nurse - Cardiac Care

Job Summary:
Provide professional cardiac care nursing to patients, ensuring adherence to established standards, practices, and healthcare techniques. Demonstrate competence in making clinical judgments and collaborating with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications, treatments, and utilize medical equipment for cardiac assessment and intervention.
• Assist physicians during patient examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments related to cardiac care.
• Educate patients and families about cardiac conditions, treatments, and preventive measures.
• Monitor patient vital signs, respond to emergencies, and document clinical findings accurately.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to coordinate comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license.
• Complete BLS certification meeting American Heart Association standards, renewed biennially.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Possess at least one year of nursing experience, preferably in cardiac care.
• Demonstrate knowledge of cardiac procedures, safety protocols, and medical terminology.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with patients and team members.
