Position Overview Customer Service Representative – Team Lead. You will serve as the shift lead for our Customer Service team that assists patients with hospital check‑in. The role oversees day‑to‑day performance metrics for Patient Experience Specialists and supports planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, and controlling activities that impact timely and accurate patient processing. Responsibilities Ensure that the team meets production standards, deadlines, and work schedules by focusing on high‑quality customer service, proper procedures, quality assurance, patient privacy, and confidentiality. Efficiently and effectively utilize all available departmental resources—human, physical, or technological—and assist with selection, training, coaching, evaluation, counseling, and development of patient account representative staff to meet production and quality standards. Create and maintain a positive, upbeat, people‑oriented departmental culture by maximizing team member morale and engagement. Provide a supportive team environment that nurtures career growth; this role is the first step in a healthcare career at R1 RCM Inc. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Excellent customer service experience. Ability to multitask, quickly learn new technology, type, and answer phones. Prepared to operate in a hospital/lab environment, seeing illness and injuries. Up‑to‑date on all vaccinations, and able to pass a drug test and background check before hire. Compensation Base pay range is $18.90 – $23.62 per hour.
