Responsibilities General Summary: Under general supervision performs mechanical tests on aerospace fasteners, including Tensile, Shear, and Torque. Evaluate parts for compliance with customer specifications. Perform with efficiency the majority of the following keys skills as related to Aerospace fasteners Testing: Tensile/Shear Test Machine Micro-hardness/Rockwell hardness tester Metallurgical sample preparation/inspection Torque testing Fatigue testing Maintain accuracy and proficiency while working between multiple work environment demands. Performs metallurgical sample preparation/inspection. Performs other tasks of equal or lesser skill as required. Other duties and/or responsibilities may be performed as part of cross-training or employee development plan. Basic Qualifications Minimum 2+ year of quality experience OR metallurgy UTS (Unified Thread Standards) knowledge Employee must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
