Overview of the Position We are on the lookout for a talented and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to become part of a passionate team providing exceptional imaging care. You will engage with cutting-edge ultrasound technology, perform diagnostic exams, and work collaboratively with an enthusiastic group of healthcare professionals, all while providing patients the reassurance and clarity they deserve. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a mix of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, and vascular imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety, clearly explaining procedures with compassion
- Coordinate with radiologists and physicians to deliver high-fidelity diagnostic images
- Maintain and operate imaging equipment while promptly addressing any technical issues
- Diligently document procedures and manage patient records using electronic medical systems
- Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound methodologies and standards
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
- CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program completion is preferred
- Current ARDMS certification or equivalent
- BLS certification is preferred
- Proficient technical skills in sonographic imaging and patient positioning
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
